JOOP 2015 REPORT

The 3rd edition of JOOP 2015 Award Ceremony took place on May 30, 2015, in the heart of Tokyo’s shopping district, Roppongi Hills, within the TV Asahi Event Space “umu”.

The initiative took place during the event “Italian Olive Oil Day”, which gathered Japanese olive oil importers and consumers for a total of over 1000 attendees.

In a course of 3 days, a panel of judges chose the winners through a blind tasting. Entries arrived from 10 countries (Croatia, Greece, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, United States, Tunisia and Turkey) with 125 types of olive oils.
