2026 EVENTS

JOOP OPEN DAY 2026 TOKYO

May 20th, 2026

We opened our doors once again to Japanese importers, distributors, and media for an exclusive tasting experience of JOOP 2026’s finest oils. Participants had the opportunity to discover and taste all Gold Prize winners and above. By scanning the QR code on each bottle, importers and distributors accessed the full profile of every oil and producer behind it, opening direct lines of communication and turning every tasting into a potential new partnership.

EVOO SEMINAR FOR FAMILIES AT MUKOGAOKA ACADEMY

May 17th, 2026

In this seminar, we introduced Japanese families to the many health benefits of extra virgin olive oil, followed by a guided tasting of some of the JOOP award-winning EVOOs. Our mission is clear: helping more and more Japanese consumers discover how to recognize, choose and enjoy true quality olive oil in their everyday cooking.

JOOP AWARD CEREMONY 2026

April 17th, 2026

We announced the winners of JOOP 2026 in front of more than 100 among Japanese media representatives, importers, and ambassadors from many participating countries. The event could be followed Live on our Instagram page. After the ceremony, the importers had the opportunity to taste a selection of the winning EVOOs.

FOODEX 2026

March 10th-13th, 2026

We exhibited at FOODEX Japan — Asia’s largest annual food and beverage trade show — with our own booth, showcasing the top 150 EVOOs from JOOP 2025 for importers to discover!

HIBIYA MIDTOWN FOOD COURT

February 1st-March 1st, 2026

From February 1st to March 1st, in the food court of Hibiya Midtown’s, a very popular shopping and entertainment complex in the heart of the city, 6 restaurants are each featuring a special dish made with a Gold-prized EVOO from JOOP 2025.

JOOP SEMINAR AT TSUJI CULINARY INSTITUTE OSAKA

September 1st, 2025

Our educational mission took us to the prestigious Tsuji Culinary Institute Osaka, where our esteemed juror Miciyo Yamada delivered an insightful seminar on the benefits and versatile uses of extra virgin olive oil. Students learned about EVOO’s remarkable properties and how to incorporate it into their culinary creations.

JOOP OPEN DAY 2025

June 30th, 2025

We opened our doors to dozens of Japanese importers, distributors, and media for an exclusive tasting experience of JOOP 2025 ‘s finest oils. Participants enjoyed an exclusive premium tasting of all JOOP 2025 Gold Prize winners and above, with interactive QR codes revealing detailed evoo descriptions, producer stories and tasting notes.

FOODEX JAPAN 2025

March 11th-14th, 2025

We took part in Foodex Japan, Asia’s premier international food and beverage exhibition. For four days, we showcased the award-winning EVOOs that received Gold Prize or higher distinctions in JOOP 2024 to Japanese buyers and distributors visiting our stand.

Seminar at ACCI Gusto Tokyo

November 28th, 2024

We took part in the 13th edition of ACCI Gusto, a prestigious fair dedicated to Italian products in Tokyo, with a seminar aimed at chefs, journalists and Food & Beverage professionals.

Tasting at Tokyo College of Sushi and Washoku

September 25th, 2024

One month after the seminar, we came back to taste the dishes prepared by the Tokyo College of Sushi and Washoku students using JOOP EVOOs. The students had one month to craft Japanese recipes that beautifully highlights the unique flavors and properties of their chosen EVOOs!

 A special seminar at the Tokyo College of Sushi and Washoku (Japanese cuisine). Our panel leader, Miciyo Yamada, introduced 15 aspiring sushi chefs to the production, benefits, and applications of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO).

JOOP OPEN DAY

JULY 17th 2024

In JOOP Open Day 2024, we displayed all Gold Prize and above winning EVOOs from JOOP 2024. Almost 100 Japanese importers had the opportunity to taste and discover the best oils of the competition. By scanning a QR code corresponding to each bottle, they were also able to obtain all the information related to the oil and to the producer.

SEMINAR FOR CREATE DINING

JULY 18th, 2024

The participants of this seminar were chefs and store managers of different restaurants in Tokyo, ranging from Japanese cuisine to Chinese, from Italian cuisine to Singaporean. Through tastings and a very detailed presentation, our JOOP Juror Mariko Shimada explained to them the correct use and health benefits of EVOO.

JOOP took part in a seminar about the marriage between food and EVOO, held by the prestigious Hattori Nutrition College. Participants had the chance to taste and discover some of JOOP 2023’s winning EVOOs!
