In the stunning setting of Contrada Varano in Catignano (PE), within the picturesque landscape of the Abruzzo hinterland, lies the Le Prunaie Farm. Spanning 90 hectares of olive groves, vineyards, and wheat fields, the farm is immersed in a region rich in history and agricultural culture, at the foot of the Gran Sasso and Maiella mountains. The farm benefits from a unique microclimate, which, combined with the exceptional quality of the cultivated land, gives rise to an equally extraordinary product.

The farm is technologically advanced and always focused on enhancing what already exists while experimenting with new trends. This commitment led to the decision to transform the farm into a closed-loop agricultural operation. With this goal in mind, the farm decided to build its own olive mill, ensuring absolute quality control across the entire production chain.

The vineyards feature typical native Abruzzo grape varieties, including Montepulciano, Pecorino, and Trebbiano, with the distinctive addition of several non-native varieties cultivated for over 20 years, such as Falanghina, Chardonnay, and Traminer, as well as a true rarity for the Abruzzo region: Malbec.
