About Podere il Torrino

Our property extends over an area of ​​14 hectares, of which 8ha are
planted with olive trees with approximately 3,000 plants, of a mix of
cultivars typical of the Tuscan territory, such as Leccino, Pendolino,
Frantoio.
No more than 300 olive trees per ha.
Our production is very limited as we only focus exclusively on quality
and not quantity.
We are a certified organic farm.
Particular fertilizations dedicated every winter depending on the
change in the chemical composition of the soil.
The olive harvest takes place by hand and the olives go directly to
the mill within a few hours, never exceeding 6-7 hours
Particular attention is paid during the milling and malaxing phase,
carried out under inert gas to avoid oxidation.
